The New York Knicks are one of 5 teams in the NBA's Atlantic Division and currently play in Manhatten NY at the World's most famous Arena, Madison Square Garden. The Knicks were formed in 1946 and in fact are one of only two teams in the NBA that are currently playing in the same city as when they were formed (The other is the Boston Celtics). The Knicks have won 5 division titles and 8 Conference Championships, but have only two NBA Championships to their name with the last being way back in 1973. Famous Knicks players include Willis Reed, Walt (Clyde) Frazier and Patrick Ewing.
