The PGA Championship is one of golf’s four Major events and is also known as "Glory's Last Shot", as it is the final Major of the season. This Tournament is played each year in August at a different venue each year. The first PGA Championship was held in 1916. Jack Nicklaus has the record for the most victories with 5. Tiger Woods has won this event 4 times but has not lifted the trophy since 2007.

Southern Hills Country Club has held the most PGA Championships with 4, the last being back in 2007. Rory McIlroy holds the record for largest margin of victory, winning by 8 strokes in 2012. Tiger Woods holds the record for highest winning score, 18 under par both in 2000 and 2006.
