Philadelphia is widely considered to be the most passionate sports town in this country. This city has teams in all of the four major sports and all are equally loved by these rabid and sometimes boisterous fans. The Eagles of the NFL, the Phillies of the MLB, the Flyers of the NHL, and the 76ers of the NBA make up the heart of this cities sports. Outside of the major sports, this city also houses the Arena Football’s Philadelphia Soul, and the Philadelphia Union of the MLS soccer league. With all the pride, passion, and tradition of this great city, it’s no surprise that it’s also the frequent home of the Army/Navy College Football Classic. Although Philadelphia is known as the City of Brotherly Love, visiting teams most always feel like a distant relative. |
